Monica and Arash met on Facebook Dating, romance in the modern age and proof that true love can start with a swipe. From the start, Arash knew a standard “just dinner” first date wouldn’t do, so they picked an activity that set the tone for everything that followed. One adventure led to another and deepened their love: mini road trips to Broken Bow, white-water rafting in Tennessee, motorcycle rides close to home, and getaways to Seaside, Cumming, and Whitefish. Never ones to do anything halfway, they pushed their boundaries further by exploring the vibrant culture of Colombia and later Mexico.

They arrived in Mexico excited for sun and sand, and Monica suspected something might happen but she kept a perfect poker face. The first night in Isla Mujeres passed without incident, and on Day 2 Monica, curious, secretly patted down Arash’s backpack just see if this was going to happen. By Day 3 they moved back to Cancún and settled near Playa del Carmen, and by Day 4 Monica had convinced herself it wasn't the right moment and let her guard down. Arash told her dinner was at 7:00 p.m. and suggested a pre-dinner drink on the beach. As they approached the shoreline, the lights revealed a table and a large marquee sign. Arash pretended to be nonchalant, admiring how well it was set up, then turned to Monica and said this was for “us.” Surrounded by the sound of waves and the glow of the setup, Arash got down on one knee and asked Monica to grow old with him.

Now, as they prepare to marry on November 19, 2026, in Little Elm, TX, Arash and Monica can’t wait to begin the next great chapter and they’re thrilled to celebrate this lifelong adventure with you.

Rachel met Monica three years ago through Arash and immediately became a warm, supportive presence in her life. She’s the ultimate hype woman, always showing up with love, encouragement, and laughter. From making memories on 30A, to homemade pizza nights in, their friendship is built on both fun and genuine connection. It’s an honor to have Rachel standing beside Monica and Arash on such a meaningful day.

Ellie's super power is she always makes you feel seen. She truly is a wonderful gift of a sister.

Dario and Arash attended the same high school but never crossed paths. Shortly after graduation, their paths collided again when they became coworkers as valet drivers. Arash still tells everyone that he didn’t like Dario when they first met—but now proudly calls him his brother. From years as roommates to countless stories, shared adventures, and planned trips, their friendship has only grown stronger.

Mase is Arash’s cousin, and the two met back in Miami, where they were both born. Their childhood was far from ordinary—mainly because Mase was a full-time daredevil. Arash had to step in on more than one occasion to save his life, fully living up to the meaning of his name. Ask Mase for the story—he’ll gladly tell it. Miami was also home to their first major “conflicts,” which mostly involved heated arguments over Arash’s stuffed Super Mario and Mase’s beloved teddy bear, Tommy.

Their teenage years were spent in Texas and were filled with go-kart racing, toilet-papering houses, endlessly quoting early-2000s movies, running missions, working together at the family restaurants, and settling minor disputes the only reasonable way—by battling it out on NFL Blitz for the N64.

Shayan is Arash’s nephew and the youngest (and coolest) groomsman! He’s an avid lacrosse player, loves spending time fishing, and makes every moment more fun just by being himself.
